What is the yellow thing on the side of sega genesis game carteridges there for?
It was mainly on sports games
The yellow strip does not serve any functional purpose. It is just a look or brand of marketing under EA ( Electronics Arts) sports. If you look closely, it has their old logo on it and only EA games has this yellow marker.
