security key …..ndsl?
my daughter has a nintendo ds lite and needs a security key from my pc…how do i get to know what the security key is from my pc…any help would be suffice…thanx

The security key may be printed on a sticker on the back or underside of your router.
If it isn’t there, you might be able to find it on the router’s administration web pages. To get into them do this:
1. Enter your router’s local IP address (see below) in your browser’s address window and press Enter.
2. Log into your router with the username and password (see your router’s documentation for the defaults. If you don’t still have the documentation, you might be able to find these out from the router manufacturer’s website.)
3. Look in the administratoin pages for something along teh lines of Wireless Security. The key (also known as an encryption key or a WEP key or WPA key) should be there somewhere. Be aware that it’s a long sequence of numbers and letters. You’ll have to copy it perfectly to the Nintendo for it to work.
Now for finding the router’s IP address.
1.Click on the Start button.
2.Click Run…
3.In the text box, type in
cmd
and press Enter.
4.A black “DOS box” window will pop up. Type into it
ipconfig /all
and press Enter.
5.A bunch of seeming gibberish will fill the screen. On the line next to “Default Gateway” your router’s IP address should appear.
